How we met
We met as freshmen in college and felt an instant connection, bonding over the excitement of discovering a city we had never lived in before. What began as a Tinder match quickly grew into a friendship and then a relationship rooted in curiosity, laughter, and a shared love of exploring, whether that meant trying new restaurants, wandering neighborhoods, or dreaming about the world beyond us. From the very beginning, we supported each other’s growth, encouraging our passions and ambitions, from surfing to interior design. Our first date was supposed to last an hour, but we left the movie early and spent four hours talking, completely content just being in each other’s presence.

The Proposal
Andrew proposed in Madrid, getting down on one knee in front of the Royal Palace on a day that felt effortlessly magical. We had planned to stroll through the palace gardens, and while Aidan was admiring the flora and fauna, one of his favorite joys, Andrew caught him completely by surprise. Earlier that day, we had wandered the city hand in hand, discovering hidden corners and savoring the food, just as we always do together. It was a perfect reflection of us: a day full of exploration, love, and a moment we’ll carry with us forever.
